| I've lived in Canada most of my life, and grew up here in a small town (for real, 900 people). My dad was the Baptist Minister in town, which for me (at the time) meant either bland conformity, or "real life" rebellion. I found out through a lot of pain and mistakes (ranging from drugs/drinking to searching other "religions") that life does not work when living apart from Christ. I am sure I could have saved myself (and those around me) a ton of heartache - however, this is what makes my walk with God so awesome and personal. I've seen for myself how miserable I am and how negative life can be when standing apart. I came back to God as an adult through some great friends who never gave up on me. One of them went on to become my best friend and husband, and we now have a little girl as well. I truly believe I have overcome much in my life through Christ Jesus. As far as graffiti, I've had a deep interest in it since 1994; and had been painting for myself and for fame for a good portion of those. Fame is nothing but another 4 letter word that amounts to nothing substantial. I now do not paint illegally, and that's because of my faith in Christ (that I am to follow the laws of the land in order to honor Him, and set an example to others), as well as out of loyalty and love for my family. I will not do anything to jeopardize our time or relationship together. That's pretty much all I have to say about that topic. *grin*. Speaking of future projects, I know I have a lot to learn and strive for. I have an extreme passion to help other women, and empower them through Christ Jesus using the example of Proverbs 31. This passage was introduced to me quite a while back, and I came to rediscover it through the girls of the "P31" crew that was recently started. Over the last couple months I have been realizing what a huge job weas women have! That's about it - feel free to contact me through my email! Peace and God Bless! Pyksy. P31. GG |
